CEE DUB’S PRODUCTIONS, LLC, is an Idaho limited liability company owned by C.W. “Butch” Welch and Penny L. Welch of Grangeville, Idaho. It was formed in June 2003 to handle media productions including the new Dutch oven cooking show, DUTCH OVEN COOKIN’ WITH CEE DUB, filmed the summer of 2003 in and around the Tri-Cities area of Washington. CEE DUB’S PRODUCTIONS, LLC, is one of three companies now owned by the Welch’s. It represents a new extension and expansion of their other two established business entities, CEE DUB’S DUTCH OVEN & CAMP COOKING SUPPLIES, LLC, and BACK COUNTRY PRESS, Penny’s sole proprietorship publishing company. Their first two companies have been operating since 1999. From February 1997 until 1999, Cee Dub’s Cook Books, was operated as a sole proprietorship, owned by C. W. “Butch” Welch, for which the primary purpose was sales of the first cookbook, Cee Dub’s Dutch Oven and Other Camp Cookin’.
The first of the existing companies, CEE DUB’S DUTCH OVEN & CAMP COOKING SUPPLIES, LLC, as the name implies, sells a variety of Dutch oven and camp cooking equipment from various manufacturers and wholesale distributors. Internet sales, including international sales, comprise a significant portion of total sales; but sportsmen’s shows, demonstrations, and cooking clinics taught by Cee Dub at various locations around the western United States, also result in significant sales of cooking products. Another major component of sales is the three existing Dutch oven cookbooks to wholesale distributors, retailers, and individual customers.
Penny formed BACK COUNTRY PRESS for the purpose of revising Butch’s first cookbook, Cee Dub’s Dutch Oven & Other Camp Cookin’, and subsequently publishing his other two cookbooks, More Cee Dub’s Dutch Oven & Other Camp Cookin’, and Cee Dub’s Ethnic & Regional Dutch Oven Cookin’. In addition, BACK COUNTRY PRESS handles a major part of the distribution of all three cookbooks BACK COUNTRY PRESS operates jointly with CEE DUB’S DUTCH OVEN & CAMP COOKING SUPPLIES, LLC, to provide various marketing avenues for the three cookbooks.
